Link in bio

im.center vs Linktree

Both give you one link for everything you do, but they're built differently. Linktree is the bigger tool, with a free plan and far more features. im.center is a small, fast page you pay for once, with a public leaderboard on the side.

The short version

  • Choose Linktree if you want a free plan, unlimited links, videos and widgets on your page, or to sell and collect sign-ups from your link in bio.
  • Choose im.center if you'd rather pay once than every month, want stats from day one and no cookie banner, and 20 links are enough.
  • The leaderboard comes with every im.center page. You can hide your rank.

What it costs

im.center costs €2 or more, once. No subscription, no renewal, no card kept on file. Your first payment puts your page live, and it stays live. Paying more doesn't unlock features: it only moves you up the leaderboard.

Linktree has a free plan and three paid plans. As of 10 October 2026, its pricing page showed these prices in euro:

  • Free: €0 a month (as of 10 October 2026).
  • Starter: €4.50 a month billed annually, or €6 billed monthly (as of 10 October 2026).
  • Pro: €10.50 a month billed annually, or €13 billed monthly (as of 10 October 2026).
  • Premium: €27.50 a month billed annually, or €32 billed monthly (as of 10 October 2026).

Prices may change: Linktree's pricing page has today's.

So Linktree can cost nothing, and im.center can't. A year of Starter, billed annually, is €54 (as of 10 October 2026).

Links and what's on the page

An im.center page holds up to 20 links, with section titles between them. Highlight any number of them as big buttons, or show a link as a card with its page's own title and picture. Social icons and store buttons sit underneath and don't count toward the 20.

Linktree does much more here. Every plan has unlimited links, and even the free plan can embed videos and music, or add a map, a Calendly booking widget, Bandsintown tour dates or contact details. Paid plans add scheduled links. On its free plan, though, only one link can be featured.

im.center has no embeds or widgets: everything is a link. If you want people to watch, listen or book without leaving your page, choose Linktree.

Stats

Every im.center page includes stats: visits, clicks per link, clicks per visit, where visits come from, which countries they come from and how your rank moved, for today by the hour or the last 7, 30 or 90 days, plus all-time totals. You can download your daily stats as a CSV file. A summary arrives by email on Mondays. Counting uses no cookies; on very busy days, numbers can be estimates.

On Linktree, how far back your stats go depends on the plan: 28 days on Free, 90 on Starter, 365 on Pro and all time on Premium. Per-link insights start on Starter; traffic sources, locations and devices on Pro; CSV export on Premium. So all-time stats and a CSV export come only with Linktree Premium, while im.center includes all-time totals and a CSV download in its one-time price from €2. Visits by country, which Linktree has from Pro, are included too. im.center has no device stats and its charts go back 90 days, so for a deeper look at your traffic, a paid Linktree plan gives you more.

Design

im.center has six colour themes, each checked for readable contrast in light and dark mode, and a background: a colour, a pattern or your own image. Your page follows each visitor's light or dark setting. There are no font or button choices.

Linktree gives you more control. Free themes come with every plan, and Pro adds advanced themes, button and font styles, image or video backgrounds and header layouts.

Your address and the footer

Your page lives at im.center/your-name. You choose the handle once and can't change it, so links and QR codes you've shared keep working. Linktree lets you change your username, at most once every seven days. Neither offers a custom domain.

Every im.center page ends with a small footer: when you joined, a line saying ranks are paid placements, and a link to make your own page. It can't be removed. Linktree lets you hide its footer on Pro and Premium.

Selling, sign-ups and teams

If your link in bio is also your shop, Linktree does far more. It sells digital products and courses and collects emails and phone numbers on every plan; from Pro, it syncs them to mailing list tools and lets several admins manage one page. It also has an app for iOS and Android.

im.center has none of that: you can't sell through it, and there's no sign-up form, no app and no team access.

Privacy and speed

im.center sets no cookies for your visitors, so your page has no cookie banner. No ads, no trackers, and nothing loads from other sites when the page opens. A typical page weighs no more than 200 KB. Links are checked for scams and malware, and shortened links aren't allowed, so visitors can see where a link goes.

What's different: the leaderboard

Every im.center page is also a profile on a public leaderboard. Your total is everything paid for your profile; the highest total is the center of im.center, and every tag, like #music or #food, has its own.

Ranks are paid placements: bought, not earned. Anyone can boost any profile, and the money goes to im.center, not to the person. Your rank shows on your page by default; you can turn it off. Amounts never appear on your page.

Moving from Linktree

  1. Pick the links you use most: up to 20, plus your social icons.
  2. Make your page at im.center/new: photo, name, handle, one tag, links and an email. We check your text, photo and links before you pay, and you can preview the page.
  3. Pay from €2. Your page goes live as soon as the payment is confirmed.
  4. Put im.center/your-name in your bios. Keep your Linktree until every bio points to the new page.
